The Statements / Questions
a. Senior management expects all employees to share ideas to improve performance.
b. My Line Manager encourages me to always do my best.
c. I feel comfortable sharing ideas and opinions with my Line Manager.
Areas of Strength
A positive response to this question for 3b and 3c. These two statements bordered the ‘Strongly Agree’
category indicating a positive and open atmosphere throughout the company.
Areas of Attention
The score for 3a fell below the ‘Agree’ boundary, with a small number of responses ‘Disagreeing’ and
‘Strongly Disagreeing’. These responses came from members of the Exeter Office, Bristol Office, and
London Construction team.
Possible Improvements
A system for employees to be able to formally put forward opinions on opportunities to Senior
Management should be developed.
Discussion groups between the Senior Management and employees could be implemented on a
bimonthly basis to get the staff more involved in company improvements.
