YES IT'S TRUE.

ģ All collected metal residues, which have been separated
and placed in the right eco point (Yellow), have a treatment
that allows them to be recovered, becoming a new raw
material for new usage.

͍ WHAT'S THE ADVANTAGE?
ģ Recycling packaging that has already been produced and used saves energy and saves virgin
raw materials in the production of new products and reduces the amount of waste to be treated.
ģ For example, in the case of metal, recycling makes it possible to save on the use of ores.
͍ WHAT HAPPENS TO METAL PACKAGES AFTER COLLECTED AT ECOPOINTS?

The metal packaging is separated from the plastic and the materials are removed, which, wrongly,
stopped at each ecopoint.
When the waste is ready, it goes to the respective recycler depending on the type of material.
The metal is transformed into new steel and aluminum and thus becomes a new raw material.

͍ WHAT CAN BE PRODUCED WITH RECYCLED METAL?
ģ New cans and other materials that use steel and aluminum. For example, a beverage can can
be recycled infinitely, without loss of quality, and it can become a new can of tuna or a bicycle.
ģ The aluminum that is obtained from recycling metal packaging uses only 5% of the energy that
would be needed to produce aluminum from mineral raw materials.
