                         1.17.1.4 Ditching Exits (Flight Crew)

                         forward escape hatch for exit after ditching. Crewmembers in the cargo
                         compartment will use the center or aft escape hatch for exit after ditching           AAR
                         refer to Figure 1-11. If cargo permits, the center escape hatch ladder
                         should be installed prior to takeoff. If cargo prevents this installation,

                         install this ladder after the cargo is jettisoned, refer to Figure 1-13.
                         All crewmembers will normally board the left inboard life raft. When
                         passengers are carried and the use of additional life rafts is required,
                         basic crewmembers will board the assigned life raft as indicated in the               HYD
                         After Ditching procedure.
