                 Mobile
The Mobile system consists of Mobile Computing (MCT) and Mobile Field Reporting (MFR). These systems
are used either in a patrol car or through a hand-held unit. Mobile software communicates with CAD to let
officers/first responders know they need to assist a citizen. The communication includes:
                     • A visual on a map in the patrol car showing real-time information in conjunction with the CAP map

                     • Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL), where responders can see themselves and other officers’ cars
enroute to the scene and a history of events related to car movement
                        (dates/times/locations/speeds) can be re-enacted.
                     • Voice communication (or silent communication that won’t use voice channels over radio networks)

                     • Speech technology that allows hands-free/eyes-on-the-road speech synthesis that queries and
translates text-formal information to audible responses

Mobile units also communicate with the Records Management System to allow:
                     • Mug shot viewing
                     • General records management access
                     • Officers to write reports in the cars and submit them for approval electronically

Officers are required to write a report for each incident they were involved with while on patrol.
Supervisors must approve these reports. While this may be done manually using pen and paper, our
software automates the process via MFR. Approval can be given electronically and the report is
automatically sent to and stored in RMS.

                 Other Mobile capabilities include:
                     • Accident, citation, arrest
                     • Card swipe, allowing patrolmen to run a driver’s license to see if a state record exists
                     • NCIC queries – local, state, and federal records check

                 JMS
The Jail Management System provides a central database to collect and track information related to the
incarceration of an individual. It fully integrates with RMS.
                 Components of JMS include:
                     • Mug shots and fingerprint tracking
                     • Bond and court related information
                     • Inmate daily items: cash accounts, cell information, medication, feeding, etc.
                     • Interfaces to court software, including ONESolution Justice

JMS is not traditionally a leading application. In some instances, large entities purchase JMS as a stand-
                 along product.
