What were the results of the individual’s or team’s behaviors?
The team developed a kit that contained ES4, ES6, ES8, dispensers and refills,
along with six different 222ml tabletop Healthy Soaps, including literature for four
different business areas that were all contained in a suitcase; which was portable
for easy access to display the new PURELL SOLUTION? systems. There were two
different versions of the kits, one that supported production at the plant of 500,
cardboard training kits that were filled in Pilot plant, labeled, packed and shipped all
by hand at Lippman to meet the tight timeline and customer expectations. The
launch kit was designed to ergonomically meet the needs of the sales rep in mind,
with a shoulder strap and flexibility to carry by hand with handles. To ensure all
customer expectations were met, the team had to create a provisional PAS for the
outside the Contract Manufacturer to follow, for the sample kits. The critical path
was the 280 pallets of suitcases that were coming from China; which resulted in
numerous delays. The team received 6,000 completed suitcases in house by launch
and the remaining 1,000 arrived a ten days later.
