PROFILE:
Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.
The teams primary focus was meeting a federal mandate and throughout the
reformulation project the team experienced many pivots. Because the formula was
sensitive, the team had to work closely with several suppliers to test over 30
different grits and 11 different preservative blends in order to find the right one that
did not cause the formula to fail. Additionally, the team worked side-by-side with
HD/MD Portfolio Optimization team who was tasked to discontinuing low volume
Heavy Duty (HD) formulas/SKUs. This inspired my team to develop a more robust
product, in multiple platforms (BIB, Gallon, 1/2 gallon and 10oz bottles) that would
also fit the needs of the formulas being discontinued.

By working closely with our internal and external customers, the team was able to
develop a product that not only met the projects objectives and goals but we
exceeded them. We developed a product that is now considered our HERO
PRODUCT in our Heavy Duty portfolio. A product that is superior in performance,
sustainable and has certifications and claims to match.

Describe in detail the individual's or team's notable behaviors.
Our team overcame many obstacles and pivots in order to meet the needs of our
customers and a government mandate. Throughout the project development, we
had many customers call in requesting a product without the micro-beads and our
team was able to deliver ahead of the date of the mandate. We were agile, focused,
sensitive to the problems we faced in the project, however; I also empowered and
challenged my team members to think outside the norm and explore alternative raw
materials and combinations. By continuing to focus on the goal and what we
needed to accomplish, we were able to develop a product that is the highlight for
