Describe the situation or event related to the individual's or team's performance.
We planned to launch the new BAK handwash product (Dye-Free) in the 3rd quarter of last year. Photostability
is one of the major performance requirements for this product. So, solving this issue within a shorter time
period was critical for meeting the product's launch timeline.
Sarah was proactive and got the job done by coordinating with Lippman, Packaging lab and an outside testing
lab, very effectively. Also, she gave feedbacks and data at the weekly meetings promptly and followed the next
steps as needed. Sarah's efforts helped us for identifying a root cause and modifying the formula for product
launch on-time!
The product was successfully launched in September for the Purell Food service & Professional Healthy soap
antimicrobial foam brands, as targeted.

Sarah has great ability to perform complex technical tasks including formulations and she gathers information
needed by asking the right questions. Also, Sarah is proactive and focusses on getting the job done when it is
needed.
What were the results of the individual’s or team’s behaviors?
Sarah Gantz supported BAK Handwash Project for optimizing the formula for improving photo-stability. She
collected than 30 samples from lab and production and have them tested for photostability and metal
composition data. Sarah shared these data promptly with the team for determining root cause for the stability
issue. These efforts helped the team for modifying the formula for improving color stability, without
jeopardizing project's timeline.
