Introduction
to the Revised Edition
IT IS OVERWHELMINGLY EXCITING to see that a book on
Bible prophecy released in the latter part of 1973 already
needs a revised edition!
The revisions contained in this volume do not have to do
with corrections of fact or more depth of research. This book
is devoted to real progress toward the fulfillment of prophecy.
God has perceptively moved since 1973 to bring ever closer
the reality of the Tribulation Temple.
Those privileged to watch prophecy fulfilled throughout
history lived in most exciting times. Imagine the drama in
Babylon when the prophet Daniel was able to announce the
end of the captivity of Israel in the sixth century before
Christ. He had seen the prophecy (Jer 29:10), and then the
people were to see the promised freedom actually worked out
by God. Imagine the astonishment of those knowledgeable
in prophecy about the Messiah observing the carpenter of
Galilee fulfilling it all as He traveled in their land.
In our own times, the recovery of Israel by the chosen
people has privileged us to stand in the wings as the stage is
set for God's grand finale, the return of Christ to the earth,
and the establishment of the Kingdom of God. The 1967
Six-Day War returned the site of the ancient Temples of
God to the Jews, and this return paved the way for the con-
sideration of a new Temple for the coming tribulation period.
It appears that we are nearing the "end times" of Bible
