and contrasted to the coming Temple by many prophecy
analysts.
Finally, we have also seen, since the publication of our
original book, the published intentions of a minority of
Jewish people to rebuild the Temple now, despite any ob-
stacles, even the formidable pressures of Arab objection and
global unease about provocations in the Middle East.
The last three of the above developments are taken up in
detail in this new edition. They truly update the progress of
a prophecy fulfillment, we feel, and they contain vital new
issues which strongly suggest biblical overtones. They truly
move torward the finale of God's plan for men.
As we go on in our fortunate situation of being able to
observe God's Word in action, we cannot help but dedicate
ourselves and our work to the even more vital issues of the
Bible. The Tribulation Temple, in all its glory, is but a
Temple for a season. This book explains that it will be swept
away when the Lord returns. Believers will see yet a fourth
Temple on the holy site, the Millennial Temple, the central
house of Jesus Christ on the earth.
Our continuing prayer is that this book will share in the
drawing of men and women around the world to the Lord
Jesus Christ, the true Object of all prophecy, and will alert
Christians to the strategic nature of the times in which we
live.
As the return of the Lord draws near, the importance of
displaying every detail of God's Word to a lost world be-
comes ever more vital. May this book, in its way, contribute
to that greatest of all causes.
