         DOCTOR IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION / MASTER OF ARTS IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
                In line with the university vision, mission and objectives, the University   research center
         identifies the areas along which all research activities in consonance with the National Higher Education
         Research Agenda.
                The following research priority areas reflect the research that is considered essential to address
         the demands and needs associated with public and non-profit administration. It aims to boost students’
         research capability in the areas of public administration, policy formulation and analysis, development
         management, budgeting and financial resource management, human resource development and
         contemporary issues in public affairs management.
            •   Competencies and leadership along the areas of public administration
            •   Expertise in the utilization of analytical tools and technique relevant to public administration
            •   Public policy, public administration and public management
            •   Health  care  services/management,  economics  and  public  finance,  policy  analysis,  program
            evaluation, nonprofit management, ethics, organizational theory and behavior, political science, and
            a broad spectrum of public policy issues.
            •   Human Resource Development
            •   Organizational arrangements to implement public policies, such as public-private partnerships,
            networks, public agencies, among others.
            •   Interpretation of the economics of public policy
            •   Cost/Benefit Analysis
            •   Managing public services
            •   Leadership in public, private and non-profit organizations
            •   Policy Evaluation
