             related  in  the  level  of  learning  competence  of  the  students.  The  attitude  towards  learning,
             study habits, learning environment and teachers’ influence are predictors in the level of learning
             competence of the students.
                    In the light of the findings and conclusions, the following are hereby recommended:
             Improve positive outlook towards learning, involve students with high level of learning competence
             in training programs, let students feel the sense of belongingness and responsibilities thru role
             playing, parents-teachers and community must work hand-in hand to build partnership, make
             class discussion interesting and relevant to current issues to achieve better performance on the
             part of the students.



                   SCHOOL MANAGERS COMPLIANCE TO EDUCATIONAL REFORM:
                                  PROBLEMS AND INTERVENTIONS

                    This study was designed to determine the School Managers’ Compliance To Educational
             Innovations in the public elementary schools of the different divisions of Pangasinan SY 2014-
             2015. Specifically, it sought to determine the following: 1) dealt on the profile of the respondents in
             terms of the following: age, sex, civil status, highest educational attainment, years of experience
             as school manager, number of teachers supervised and relevant trainings on management; 2)
             determined the level of school managers’ compliance to educational innovations in the following
             areas: curriculum development, personal development, student development, physical facilities
             development and special programs and projects; 3) focused on the significant differences in the
             levels of school managers’ compliance to educational innovations across the profile variables; 4)
             determined the significant relationship in the level of school managers’ compliance to educational
             innovations and the selected profile variables..
                    The  following  are  the  findings  of  the  study:  1.)  Majority  of  the  school  managers
             belong to age bracket of 45 to 54, majority are females and married. Majority have Doctoral
             Degree units 41 or 60.3 percent. Majority have 11 to 15 years or 33.8 percent, number of years
             experienced  as  school  managers,  supervised  21  to  40  or  41.2  percent  number  of  teachers
             and attended in-service trainings from district to international levels; 2.) The level of school
             managers compliance to educational innovations, obtained an overall weighted mean of 4.55
             equivalent to “very extensive”. The different ratings are curriculum development 4.56, personal
             development 4.56, student development 4.64, physical facilities development 4.45 and special
             programs and projects 4.52; 3.) On the null hypothesis of no significant difference in the level of
             school managers’ compliance to educational innovations across their profile variables is generally
             accepted at .05 level of significance in all areas; 4.) In terms of relationship between the level of
             school managers’ compliance to educational reforms and the selected profile variables, there is
             no significant relationship between the levels of compliance to educational development and the
