An Industrial Visit was organised to
"DhakshinaChitra" on 07/8/2019 by Prof.
P. Sri Ramalakshmi for the subject of
Ethics and Values. DhakshinaChitra is a
living museum that is divided into four
parts and each of them depicts and
signifies each of the states, Kerala,
Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
In addition, each of the state regions had

different types of houses according to the
sects and the religion of people. The
lifestyle of people, their well-ventilated
houses and their attachment to nature was
clearly depicted. The whole place was
covered with a canopy of trees. Each of the
houses depicted the heritage, traditions
and the cultural richness of the respective
state.

Cake Days for the month of June and
July were celebrated on 28th and 31st

respectively. The birthdays of the
faculty and staff members of SELECT
were commemorated in the presence

of SELECT Faculty, lab technicians and
staff members. The welcome address

was given by the School Dean Dr. Peer
Fathima after which the former Pro VC
joined to celebrate the occasion.
