Finding Nemo

Marlin, a clown fish, loses his wife after she and her
eggs are attacked by a barracuda - a predatory fish
with sharp teeth. One egg survives the tragedy and
becomes Nemo. Marlin raises him.

Nemo is Marlin’s only child. He is an overprotective
father who, because of the attack, fears for his son’s
safety.

Nemo is an inquisitive, confident fish who resents being treated like a weakling
by his father. In an attempt to prove his bravery, Nemo swims dangerously close to a
fishing boat and gets caught in its net.

With the help of a forgetful clownfish named Dory, Marlin searches the ocean
for Nemo. Their search leads them to remarkable encounters with sharks, jellyfish,
turtles, and a whale.

Nemo makes an escape plan and manages, with the help of friends, to find his
way back to his father. Newly reunited, Marlin and Nemo soon realize that they are not
the same fish that swam together before Nemo was caught; their experiences changed
them, and they’ve grown emotionally. Nemo finally understands his father’s
overprotectiveness. Marlin realizes that he had underestimated his son’s abilities and
treated him unfairly. From then on Marlin was less protective of Nemo, and gave him
freedom to venture and explore.
