                                                                30.  There was a reduction in the subject entries for CSEC® and
                                                                    CAPE® but there was an increase for CCSLC®, which has
                                                                    been steadily increasing over the last three years.

                                                                31.  Table 5 shows the comparative figures for the 2019 May-June
                                                                    and 2020 July-August sessions. Overall, there were 1,900
                                                                    fewer candidates in 2020 and 3,669 fewer subject entries.

                                                                32.  Figure 5 shows entries in CAPE® with a relatively flat trend
                                                                    over the 2017-2020 period with both subject and candidate
                                                                    entries decreasing marginally in 2020.  In the case of CSEC®
                                                                    entries, there was a steady decline over the same period
                                                                    with subject entries reflecting a 9 per cent decline from
                                                                    611,211 in 2017 to 554,174 in 2020.  In comparison, CCSLC®
                                                                    has experienced a 17 percent growth over the period 2017 –
                                                                    2020, with subject entries moving from 14,995 up to 17,507.

                                                                33.  The ORS was modified to allow candidates to transfer their
                                                                    SBA from English A to B and vice versa.  The modification
                                                                    of the ORS also permitted SBA to be transferred amongst
