THEATRE ARTS
In 2020, 93.74 per cent of candidates earned acceptable
Grades I–III. This is consistent with the previous two years
where 93.7 per cent and 94.08 per cent earned acceptable
Grades I–III in 2019 and 2018 respectively.
The mean performance of Paper 01 improved over the
previous two years. For Paper 02 (Performance Paper), the
mean performance for Paper 021 (Drama option) is consistent
with the previous year and slightly below that of 2018. For
Paper 022 (Dance option), there is an improvement in the
mean performance over the previous two years. For Paper
023 (Stagecraft option), there is a trend of a consistent decline
in performance from 2018. For Paper 03 (SBA), the mean
performance declined over the previous two years.
Profile 1 (Appreciating and Analysing) showed an improvement
in the mean performance over the previous two years. The
mean performance on Profile 2 (Performing) is consistence
with the previous two years, while the mean performance for
Profile 3 (Creating) declined when compared with the previous
two years.
