zealots have heaped upon this man are shameful and
disgraceful to us. The words this man spoke to us have been       ٠t,.‫ ﺍ‬٧‫ﻻ‬
the life guidance of a hundred and eighty million people fo
the last twelve hundred years. Are we to believe that it was       ‫ﺍ‬
spiritual falsity that so many of God's creatures lived and died
by? That his word was false? I caanot and will not accept this!
A false man found the last of the great montheistic religions?
Why a false man cannot even build a brick house, if he does
not know the exact properties of motar and burnt clay that are
needed. No such house would stand for twelve centuries and
lodge a hundred and eight millions: it would collapse
straightaway. A man must conform to nature's laws and the
truth of things or nature will answer him.

This Mahomet was a messenge,r sent from the infinite
unknown with tidings for us from God. We feel the words he
utters are as no other man's words. The inspiration of the
Almighty giventh him understanding. These Arabs Mahomet
was born among are certainly a notable people. Their land
itself is notable; inaccessible rockmountains, great grim
deserts, beautiful strips of verdure, wherever water is to be
found, there is greeness, beauty, odifirerous balm shrubs, date
trees and frankincense trees. A wide waste horizon of sand,
empty and silent, dividing one habitable place from another.
You are alone there with the universe; by day a fierce sun
