Overall: Rogelio has spent a majority of his career with the Los Angeles Unified School District. He
is heavily experienced in IT and is willing to learn the library skills necessary to succeed in
this role. It is unclear how many people he manages and what his role is in leading
projects. While Rogelio was concise with his answers, he was not able to completely
explain his day-to-day responsibilities. However, Rogelio has enough enthusiasm as a
councilmember who champions library programs in his own community that he would be a
good candidate to dig into deeper in the panel interview. Depending on the depth of the
candidate pool, I would recommend moving Rogelio forward.
