CALLING IN SICK OR LA TE

Staff at Marchetti are proud of the value they bring to the team and understand
the importance of attending their rostered shifts, at the rostered time. As a valu-
able member of the Marchetti team, staff are expected to give 100% during work
        hours.

Marchetti promotes a team culture: we all give our best to the benefit of the
        team.

All staff are to arrive to work at least 10 minutes before the start of their shift. In
the event that this is not possible, the following procedures must be followed:

If a team member is so sick that they cannot fill their shift, they must phone the
venue and speak to their manager or alternately the most senior manager on
shift. Outside operating hours, a manager must be called on their after-hours
number. A minimum of 12 hours notice must be given so that the shift may be
filled. A doctor’s certificate is required.

A text message or email is NOT acceptable.

If a team member has unsuccessfully attempted three times to contact a manag-
er via phone, it is permissible that a text message is sent.

If a team member is running late, a phone call or text message is essential.

It is unacceptable to be consistently late for work as it demonstrates a lack of re-
spect for fellow team mates who may have to work longer and/or harder to cover

        the shift until your arrival.

Being consistently late to work will result in disciplinary action.
