Y OUR ROSTER RESPONSIBILITIES

Staff at Marchetti take personal responsibility in ensuring they have the correct
roster and are aware of any changes.

Rosters may change depending on business demands

This includes start and finish times, the availability of hours and regular shifts.

Rosters will be posted in advance, where possible. A hard copy of the roster
is kept in the cabinet in the kitchen and an electronic version sent to you each
week. Although you will automatically be notified of roster changes, it remains
your responsibility to stay vigilant of all updates and it is recommended that you
check your roster daily.

You may not swap shifts or change the roster without approval from the manager.

It is your responsibility to ensure you clock in and out correctly at the start and
finish of your shift and also during breaks.

SMOKING POLICY

At Marchetti your health and well being matters to us. We are committed to elim-
inating the risk of illness to employees, guests, contractors and visitors resulting
from passive smoking in the workplace. In keeping with this commitment and

with government regulations, staff are not permitted to smoke on the premises,
except in designated smoking areas.

In compliance with Marchetti’s duty of care under occupational health and safety
legislation and in line with medical evidence, community expectations and high
standards of food hygiene, smoking is not permitted in the venue.

Staff may never smoke in view of guests or in uniform (no aprons or chefs jack-
ets). Marchetti’s staff may smoke only in the designated staff smoking areas,
away from the venue, as advised.

Should an employee wish to smoke during work hours, they will only do so with
the approval of the manager or shift supervisor.

Staff will always wash their hands thoroughly after smoking.
