PERSONAL PRESENT A TION

Team members at Marchetti take pride in their personal presentation. They en-
sure they arrive to work well groomed and in the correct uniform.

The manner in which the team is presented is often the very fi rst impression that
a guest has of the brand. Make it a good one! The pride a team member takes
in their personal appearance refl ects the pride they take in their job. Taking care
with personal presentation is a way of showing respect for your work place and
your guests. Take time to ensure the best ‘you’ is on display!

If the team is presented in correct uniform, clean and ironed, with a big smile,
they project a professional and positive image and the guest is immediately at

ease. By the same standard, if the team looks untidy and unclean, customers will
assume this is representative of the venue as a whole.
All clothing must always be clean and well ironed - see Laundry Tip on page 22.

Subtle perfume and cologne is permitted. Nail varnish may only be worn if im-

        maculately maintained (no chips).
Men’s facial hair should be tidily manicured and groomed.

All facial piercings are to be approved by the manager.

Hair longer than shoulder length must always be neatly tied back.

A welcoming and genuine smile is an essential part of your uniform.

        Personal hygiene

All team members will be aware of their personal hygiene and ensure they wear
        antiperspirant deodorant.

Wash hands after: smoking, touching hair or face, coughing or sneezing.

Do not touch hair or face in the pastry area or in view of guests.

                    Dressing well

                     is a form of

                 good manners.
