Lunch setting - placed after ordering
After the lunch order has been taken the table will be set with cutlery in a cutlery
pocket, a napkin underneath the cutlery pocket and a Marchetti paper underlay
for each person.
Staff will take care to position the underlay paper in line with the bottom edge of
the table and ensure it is straight.
The cutlery pockets for all diners will be placed on the left side as you face the
banquette or the front window.

Marchetti’s doilies

Marchetti has many personal touches that make the ‘Marchetti experience’
unique and memorable. The doilies are one of these things.
All drinks served in glassware will be placed on a doily
(as a coaster) on the table, or on the bar. Each new
drink will be served with a fresh doily.
The Daily News
Newspapers are delivered daily for guests to read
while they are enjoying their morning coffee or
afternoon tea. When guests have finished, ensure
newspapers are neatly folded and returned to the
appropriate location.
