Chapter 1: Introduction
By using the Web pages, you can configure or browse the following options
(refer to table 1-2 on page 1-27 and table 1-3 on page 1-28).
Table 1-2. Configuring Options Available for the Master Alarm by Using
the Web Pages
Option Description
User administrators Sets up to three users.
User language Sets the language for English, Spanish, or French.
Set clock Sets the real time clock.
Device name Sets a unique name for the Master Alarm.
Gas or vacuum type Sets the type of gas or vacuum an input is monitoring.
Alarm message Sets an alarm input message.
Alarm system Sets the system number of the source.
LED mapping Sets the source input to an LED on the front panel.
Location Sets the location of the room where the alarm is located.
Direction Sets the direction of the wing where the alarm is located.
Alarm return time Sets the time between audible alarms.
Electronic notification Sets up to five electronic notifications (combination of electronic
mail and pager addresses).
Configuration transfer Transfers the configuration of one Master Alarm to another.
Download event log Downloads the event log to a computer file.
Download configuration Downloads the Master Alarm’s configuration to a computer file.
Clear network memory Clears the device list from the Master Alarm’s memory.
Network setup Sets the Ethernet network settings.
N2 address Sets the address for the building automation system’s notification
option.
Software update Programs the Master Alarm’s FLASH software.
A Combination Alarm that has a 30-Point Master Alarm with three Area Alarm Modules cannot
interface with a building automation system. The Area Alarm Modules use the same connector that
would otherwise interface with the building automation system.
