ON MSME DEVELOPMENT

Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Project

A major component of the MSME Development Program and considered to
be a “Big Push” is the Shared Service Facilities Project which aims to
improve the competitiveness of MSMEs by providing them with machinery,
equipment, tools, systems, accessories and other auxiliary items, skills, and
knowledge under a shared system.

Brand Development Program

Building strong Philippine brands is a strategy to promote Philippine
products. We will encourage micro- and SMEs to appreciate the value of
brand equity. By creating strong brands, business opportunities will be
expanded, sales will increase, businesses will grow, and more jobs will
be generated. Interventions will be in the firm level, focused on product
development, marketing support, and IPOPHL registration, among
others.

Project Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME)

The Kapatid Mentor ME project is a coaching and mentoring program
for micro enterprises to help them scale-up their businesses through the
weekly coaching and mentoring by business owners and practitioners
on different functional areas of entrepreneurship to be held in Negosyo
Centers nationwide. This project aims to assist micro enterprises in
improving their business performance based on productivity, market
reach, sales, etc., and at the same time increase the number of jobs.
