Project Execution Team (ET) and Beyond
A more effective system of monitoring and enforcement of fair trade laws
will be established by creating an intra-agency “strike team” led by FTEB
and regional Consumer Protection Divisions. Under this project, a sheriff
will be designated, enforcement and adjudication procedures will be
formulated, and a manual of operation will be crafted by the first quarter of
2017.
Bagwis Brand
The DTI-Bagwis Program gives due recognition to establishments that
uphold the rights of consumers while practicing responsible business
where consumers get the best value for money. The people’s awareness of
Bagwis as a brand of consumer confidence will be broadened.
4Ms – Matalino, Mapanuri, at Malayang Mamimili
Matalino, Mapanuri at Malayang Mamimili or 4Ms is an extensive
nationwide consumer education and advocacy program that aims to
safeguard consumers’ access to basic needs, freedom in choosing quality
products and services, and gaining value for money. It consists of six (6)
components, namely: Commodity Supply Chain Study, Consumer Portal,
Bagwis Portal, e-Presyo Project, Consumer Minute Program, and
Consumer Advocacy through Quad-Media.
One Standard One World Project 2018
The project aims to raise the quality and competitiveness of Philippine
products and services to be at par with international market, and ensure
consumer safety while promoting environmental protection.
