Project Dalubhasa (Specialists Development Program)
The DTI Academy shall be responsible for providing learning and development
opportunities for DTI employees at all levels. This aims to (1) produce specialists in
Raise the Roof Project
The Department of Trade and Industry will pursue an infrastructure project that will
delivery of service to the public, and to generate approximately PhP 150 million of
savings in annual rental expenses.
Data Privacy
The Department fully supports the Data Privacy Act (DPA) of 2012 and aims to imple-
ment measures that protect handling of personal data. It aims for balance in the use
of information to achieve its goals while protecting the data privacy rights of its
stakeholders.
The DTI will work with other agencies, foremost of which is the National Privacy
Commission (NPC), in ensuring its compliance with the DPA, including among others
formulating and implementing a Privacy Manual and Program, and registering
information systems with the NPC.
