ON MSME DEVELOPMENT
Negosyo Center
Negosyo Centers are being established in all provinces and cities
nationwide to promote ease of doing business, and facilitate access to
services. They also pursue the development of micro- and SMEs, and
the creation of jobs and livelihood in their communities. As of December
2016, 447 NCs were already launched, which assisted 515,505
clients.
Philippine Business Registry (PBR) Databank
The PBR Databank is a project that seeks to institute policy and
promote the PBR among the agencies and local government units to
establish it as the national registration system and databank for
business entities, streamlining government processes and contributing
to the country’s competitiveness by improving the ease of doing
business. It will facilitate a seamless transactional environment for
business registration and facilitation with all the concerned agencies
through the development of a web-based portal that is at par with the
business portals of other countries.
