in the morning, when you turn on the TV and you see funeral insurance adverts, showing happy
smiley old people, who talk about their funeral plans. There are a lot of ruthless adverts that I

believe are inappropriate, sexist and racist. I am sure, there are many other ways businesses
can advertise on public TV without being offensive.

Climate in the Ukraine

Ukraine has fantastic snowy winters, beautiful autumns, very pleasant springs and nice hot
summers. The weather is stable and clear. You can experience the entire four seasons in a year.
The UK’s weather is not what I would choose to experience. You never know what to expect
and you really shouldn’t plan ahead for it.

Disadvantages

Some of the disadvantages of living in the Ukraine, based on my personal experiences and
observations, are the bureaucracy, bad roads, not everyone speaks English like in Denmark,

the war situation in the east of Ukraine, and the emigration of the population. A lot of
Ukrainians work abroad, in Poland, Slovakia, etc. in order to bring money home to improve
their lives for the better. Ukraine is not a rich country but it is developing and moving forward.
There is a lot of potentials and future for Ukraine, I believe.

Transport

Roads and transport are not the best in Ukraine but taxis
are cheap and affordable. In contrast, the transport in
the UK is really good and I really enjoy travelling on

public buses and the UK’s roads are amazing!

Nature

Both the UK and Ukraine have astonishing nature and
sceneries. I really enjoy the beautiful and peaceful parks
and nature in the UK. One of the privileges of life in the
UK is its integration and cosmopolitical nature which
makes it unique. I Love this about the UK!

Future

I know many British people, when they reach retirement age, choose Spain or France, but if
you are looking for ‘A Place in the Sun’, like me, you should definitely choose Ukraine!
