Research to support Fun in the workplace.


        Summary:              Research indicates that
        having fun is healthy for people, both

        physically and mentally.  When people are
        having fun, their bodies are healthier, their
        mind is clear of negative stress, and
        emotional well-being is restored.  In addition,

        working in a fun environment stimulates
        creativity, fosters committed relationships,
        and enhances productivity.


        Details:

            1. A recent PBS special showed captains

               of industry cavorting at a seminar to
               learn the benefits of fun in the
               workplace-because workers allowed a

               little fun on the job turn out to be
               significantly more creative, productive,
               and loyal to the company.


               Fun is the latest management tool.
