While exploring my workplace’s eLearning culture, I identified potential eLearning
‘champions’, colleagues who would be supportive and proactive about leading
change (Figure 4.3). I am fortunate to work for a forward thinking headmaster who
embraces eLearning, therefore, I was able to gain support from our senior
management and board of directors. During our staff meetings, I shared the school’s
eLearning vision with the teaching staff and our goal to share learning resources with
parents via an online multimedia platform. I deemed this important to share the
school’s goals and vision to help them understand where eLearning should take
place and where we see eLearning evolving in the future. I am optimistic that over
time, and with adequate staff training, the teaching staff will be able to create and
share their own eLearning resources online with the parents and further parental
involvement and pupil progress.
