Once our resource prototypes were in their initial phase of development, we began
the social validation process by presenting to our college lecturers and peers.
Thereafter, we assembled into more manageable groups of three for our continuous
form of social validation. This was achieved by communicating via email, instant
messaging applications and online webinar sessions to discuss and critique each
other’s research projects (Figure 4.10), (Figure 4.11). I found this process most
beneficial as it allowed us to share and discuss some of our shortcomings and
struggles as well as our successes; I received both valuable constructive feedback
and positive feedback that motivated me to strive for excellence.
