                        5.4 Personal Transformation

This action research project has also contributed to my own personal development

and how I hope to utilise my newly acquired skills going forward. Over the course of
the two years I have been attending my MEME course in DCU, I have transformed

both professionally and personally. I have honed and developed my technical skills

particularly my video design and production skills. I have also fostered my passion
for videography and am now proficient in using Articulate Storyline, an application

for creating and designing eLearning courses. I am more confident in my own
abilities, have a greater understanding of my role as ‘Leader of ICT’ and have been

given the opportunity to further my career path (Video 5.1). I have opened the lines

of communication within the school community for collaboration on future projects
and am looking forward to the challenge of continuing to improve eLearning within

our school whilst involving the wider school community.
