This circa 1910 vase is an example of Luen Hing being
more adventurous and creative than normal. The two
lizards peering into the vase and acting as the handles
is a stroke of genius - the quality of the workmanship is
particularly high.
Of the same date, the bowl [below] shows an
extraordinarily expert hand-hammered planished
ground with repoussé chrysanthemum blossom
garlands.
