               After one pass of blending, you will probably need to add               additional  tone  once  or  twice  more  before  the  contrasts               are built up sufficiently.               For  the  large  areas,  use  a  clean  chamois  cloth  wrapped               around  your  finger  and  blend  according  to  the  natural               contours  of  the  face,  using  a  consistent  direction               throughout the portrait.
