               Stand back from the portrait and examine it from different               vantage points to see how it looks from different angles               and distances.               You  should  also  take  breaks  often  during  the  drawing               process to give yourself several chances to see the work               with fresh eyes.               You'll find that the mistakes are much more apparent after               a  break,  and  if  you  do  this  at  the  layout  step  of  the               drawing process,  you'll save  yourself a lot of  correction               time later.
