They say any map is better than no map but in age of google maps, I was having a hard time
with the DNR maps. As a newbie it was a mess, as a person after the fact I could realize the
dated info and the questionable descriptions.
Sometimes I would look at the map and the description and just shake my head wondering if
being this early really made that much of a difference.
On the map it did.
Paddling from Coffee Pot was fun. I had water and I had a paddle. So I paddled in the morn-
ing, I paddled in the evening I paddled a song between my brothers and sisters…….well you
get the picture …..like the song…….I paddled.
LOOKING FORWARD IN TIME (Aug 2016)
Just as hard as it is to imagine this section just around the bend from Coffee Pot
Landing just before the bridge naked of all these leaves and wide open and barren sides
to the River, so it is hard for me to imagine this picture compared to what I actually paddled.
The differences are night and day and that was the way everywhere I went seem to be till
spring caught up with me down the river.
