Last night I had built a fire and ate some of my stores but for the most part I just took every-
thing off both kayaks and laid it out on the grass planning on a full day to deicide what was
the best way to lower the center of gravity on one kayak, and inspect the other kayak for drag

damage.

The day had been full, the night promised to be cold, so pitching a tent inside the shelter I de-
cided to sleep in the New pop up tent I had not had a change to try.

I had brought lots of gear to try out to see what would or would not make the cut of keeping
for the entire trip and what I would gradually get rid of after evaluating if I needed it.
