Saviour, Guardian, Heavenly Friend,
        O defend us to the end ! 3/5 Verse 6
                                                                If but your God approve,
        Verse 4 And if, within your breast,
        Thine for ever! Shepherd keep You feel the comfort of His love,
        These Thy frail and trembling sheep; The earnest of His rest. 6/6
        Safe alone beneath Thy care, HOME
        Let us all Thy goodness share. 4/5 304 Behold the servant of the

        Verse 5
        Thine for ever! Thou our guide, Verse 1
        All our wants by Thee supplied, Behold the servant of the Lord!
        All our sins by thee forgiven, I wait thy guiding eye to feel,
                                                                To hear and keep thy every word,
        Lead us, Lord, from earth to heaven. Amen.

        HOME To prove and do thy perfect will,
                                                                Joyful from my own works to cease,
        303 Believe not those who say Glad to fulfil all righteousness. 1/4
        Verse 1
        Believe not those who say Verse 2
        The upward path is smooth, Me if thy grace vouchsafe to use,
        Lest you should stumble in the way Meanest of all thy creatures, me,
        And faint before the truth. 1/6 The deed, the time, the manner choose,

        Verse 2                                                 Let all my fruit be found of thee;
        It is the only road Let all my works in thee be wrought,
        Unto the realms of joy; By thee to full perfection brought. 2/4
        But he who seeks that blest abode
        Must all His powers employ. 2/6 Verse 3
                                                                My every weak, though good design O'errule, or
        Verse 3 change, as seems thee meet; Jesus, let all my
        Arm, arm you for the fight! work be thine!
        Cast useless loads away;
        Watch through the darkest hours of night; Thy work, O Lord, is all complete,
        Toil through the hottest day.  3/6                      And pleasing in thy Father's sight;
                                                                Thou only hast done all things right. 3/4
        Verse 4
        To labour and to love, Verse 4
        To pardon and endure,                                   Here then to thee thy own I leave;
        To lift your heart to God above,                        Mould as thou wilt thy passive clay;
        And keep thy conscience pure. 4/6 But let me all thy stamp receive,

        Verse 5 But let me all thy words obey,
        Be this thy constant aim, Serve with a single heart and eye,
        Your hope, your chief delight; And to thy glory live and die. Amen. 4/4
