O feed me, Lord, that I may feed Verse 2
Thy hungering ones with manna sweet. 2/4 The virtue of your grace
A large increase shall give,
Verse 3 And multiply the faithful race
O teach me, Lord, that I may teach Who to your glory live. 2/4
The precious things Thou dost impart;
And wing my words, that they may reach Verse 3
The hidden depths of many a heart. 3/4 Now then the ceaseless shower
Of Gospel blessings send,
Verse 4 And let the soul converting power
O use me, Lord, use even me, Your ministers attend. 3/4
Just as Thou wilt, and when, and where,
Until Thy blessed face I see, Verse 4
Thy rest, Thy joy, Thy glory share. 4/4 On multitudes confer
HOME The heart renewing love,
315 A charge to keep I have, And by the joy of grace prepare
Verse 1 For fuller joys above. 4/4
A charge to keep I have, HOME
A God to glorify, 317 Master, speak! Thy servant
A never dying soul to save, heareth
And fit it for the sky: 1/4 Verse 1
Master, speak! Thy servant heareth,
Verse 2 To serve the present age, My calling to Waiting for Thy gracious word,
fulfil: Longing for Thy voice that cheereth;
O may it all my powers engage
To do my Master's will! 2/4 Master, let it now be heard.
I am listening. Lord, for thee;
Verse 3 What hast Thou to say to me? 1/4
Arm me with jealous care,
As in thy sight to live; Verse 2
And O thy servant, Lord, prepare Speak to me by name, O master,
A strict account to give! 3/4 Let me know it is to me;
Speak, that I may follow faster,
Verse 4
Help me to watch and pray, With a step more firm and free,
And on thyself rely, Where the shepherd leads the flock
Assured, if I, my trust betray, In the shadow of the rock. 2/4
I shall forever die. 4/4
HOME Verse 3
316 Lord, if at your command Master, speak! Though least and lowest,
Verse 1 Let me not unheard depart;
Lord, if at your command Master, speak! For O Thou knowest
The word of life we sow,
Watered by your almighty hand, All the yearning of my heart,
The seed shall surely grow; 1/4 Knowest all its truest need;
Speak, and make me blest indeed. 3/4
