All that we have is thine alone,                        This life is not the life that waits us there;
        A trust, O Lord, from thee. 1/6 Thoughts, feelings, flashes, glimpses come and
                                                                go;
        Verse 2
        May we thy bounties thus                                We cannot speak them-nay, we do not know;
        As stewards true receive, Wrapt in this cloud of light we seem to be
        And gladly, as thou blessest us, The thing we tain would grow - eternally. 2/3
        To thee our first fruits give. 2/6
                                                                Verse 3
        Verse 3 No, saith the Lord, the hour is past, we go; Our
        O hearts are bruised and dead, home, our life, our duties lie below.
        And homes are bare and cold, While here we kneel upon the mount of prayer,
        And lambs, for whom the Shepherd bled,
        Are straying from the fold. 3/6 The plough lies waiting in the furrow there.
                                                                Here we sought God that we might know His
        Verse 4                                                 will;
        To comfort and to bless, There we must do it, serve Him, seek Him still.
        To find a balm for woe, 3/3
        To tend the lone and fatherless HOME
        Is angels' work below. 4/6 325 Who is on the Lord's side
                                                                Verse 1 Who is on the Lord's side? Who will
        Verse 5 serve the King? Who will be His helpers Other
        The captive to release, lives to bring?
        To God the lost to bring,
        To teach the way of life and peace, Who will leave the world's side?
        It is a Christ-like thing. 5/6 Who will face the foe?
                                                                Who is on the Lord's side?
        Verse 6 Who for Him will go?
        And we believe thy word,
        Though dim our faith may be; By Thy call of mercy,
        Whatever for thine we do, O Lord, By Thy grace divine,
        We do it unto thee. 6/6                                 We are on the Lord's side;
        HOME Saviour, we are Thine. 1/4
        324 Stay, Master, stay upon this
        heavenly hill                                           Verse 2
        Verse 1 Jesus, Thou hast bought us,
        Stay, Master, stay upon this heavenly hill; Not with gold or gem, But with Thine own life-
        A little longer, let us linger still; blood, For Thy diadem.
        With all the mighty ones of old beside,
                                                                With Thy blessing filling
        Near to the awful presence still abide; Each who comes to Thee,
        Before the throne of light we trembling stand, Thou hast made us willing, Thou hast made us
        And catch a glimpse into the spirit-land. 1/3 free.

        Verse 2 By Thy great redemption,
        Stay, master, stay! We breathe a purer air; By Thy grace divine,
