P. 152

Verse 3
        All my words and thoughts receive; Praise in the common things of life,
        Claim me for Thy service, claim                         Its goings out and in;
        All I have and all I am. 2/5 Praise in every duty and each deed,
                                                                How ever small and mean. 3/6
        Verse 3
        Take my soul and body's powers; Verse 4
        Take my memory, mind, and will,                         Fill every part of me with praise;
        All my goods, and all my hours, Let all my being speak
                                                                Of Thee and of Thy love, O Lord,
        All I know, and all I feel, Poor though I be, and weak. 4/6
        All I think, or speak, or do;
        Take my heart, but make it new. 3/5 Verse 5
                                                                So shalt Thou, Lord, from me, e‟en me,
        Verse 4                                                 Receive the glory due;
        Now, 0 God, Thine own I am, And so shall I begin on earth
        Now I give Thee back Thine own; The song forever new. 5/6
        Freedom, friends, and health, and fame
                                                                Verse 6
        Consecrate to Thee alone: So shall no part of day or night
        Thine I live, thrice happy I;                           From sacredness be free;
        Happier still if Thine I die. 4/5 But all my life, in every step, Be fellowship with
                                                                Thee. 6/6
        Verse 5                                                 HOME
        Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, 309 Go, labour on, spend, and be
        One in Three, and Three in One, spent,
        As by the celestial host,
                                                                Verse 1
                                                                Go, labour on, spend, and be spent, Your joy to
        Let Thy will on earth be done;
        Praise by all to Thee be given, do the Father‟s will:
        Glorious Lord of earth and heaven.   5/5                It is the way the Master went;
        HOME Should not the servant tread it still? 1/4
        308 Fill Thou my life, O Lord my
                                                                Verse 2
        God                                                     Go, labour on, while it is day;

        Verse 1 The world‟s dark night is hastening on:
        Fill Thou my life, O Lord my God,                       Speed, speed your work, cast sloth away;
        In every part with praise, It is not thus that souls are won. 2/4
        That my whole being may proclaim
        Thy being and Thy ways. 1/6 Verse 3
                                                                Toil on, faint not, keep watch, and pray;
        Verse 2                                                 Be wise, the erring soul to win;
        Not for the lip of praise alone, Go forth into the world‟s highway,
        Nor e‟en the praising heart Compel the wanderer to come in. 3/4
        I ask, but for a life made up
        Of praise in every part: 2/6 Verse 4
                                                                Toil on, and in your toil rejoice;

                                                         Return
