3.16 Social Media
E3 encourages all employees, current and former, to engage in responsible communication with one another
through the means of social networking sites such as Facebook, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Twitter or other forms of social
media. The purpose of this policy is to assist you in making responsible decisions about your professional and
personal use of social media.
Employees may not post financial, confidential, sensitive or proprietary information about E3, its clients, employees,
applicants, subcontractors, vendors, or other affiliates. Employees are strongly encouraged to discuss releasing any
project information, including the name of the client and subject of the project, with their manager, who will consult
with the Director of Contracts, in advance of doing so for purposes of receiving approval for the applicable
government or prime contractor client. The majority of our contractual agreements require advance approval of
release of information.
Employees may not post disparagements, obscenities, slurs, or personal attacks that can damage the reputation of
the company, clients, employees, applicants, subcontractors, or vendors.
E3 may monitor content posted on the Internet. You are personally responsible for any posting that you make. E3 is
not responsible for protecting you from the consequences of any information that you post.
Policy violations may subject offending employees to disciplinary action up to and including termination of
employment. Please consider your message carefully prior to publishing on internal and external networking sites.
Nothing in this policy should be construed as prohibiting or restricting an employee from engaging in protected
concerted activities.
