Nationwide Temporary Worker Travel/Living Expense Guidelines
This document outlines guidelines/expectations of contractor/consultant travel
expenses.
1. Travel Arrangements:
For work related travel arrangements inside or outside the assignment location,
including airline, hotel, and car rental, please call contact the Egencia Support team
at (800) 718-4980 (prompt #1) with any questions related to making travel
arrangements or navigating the Egencia site. A customer service representative will
be available to assist you.
Give Client manager’s name and telephone number with whom you are
working.
Airline:
Travel arrangements are to be made significantly in advance, preferably two
weeks, whenever possible, to obtain the best rate and lowest discount fare.
Charges for flight changes are at the contractor’s expense, unless for business
reasons. Airfare accommodations are to be coach class.
Preference is to be given to company negotiated contracts if the fare is comparable
to or lower than other discount fares. Full coach fare may only be used when a
discount fare is unavailable.
