                          only LEO but also You. Take a moment to think
                          about how many times you tap your passcode
                          into your phone or desktop in front of colleagues,
                          friends  or  strangers;  or  how  many  times  you
                          have received a spam or phishing email.
                          The speedy development of internet and technology has
                          led to the boom of cyber attacks and cyber crime is now the
                          2  most reported crime in the UK. Common types of cyber

                          crime include identity theft and spam and phishing emails.
                          Here are few basic tips help you stay secure:
                             Keep your computer current with the latest patches
                             and updates
                             Make sure your computer is configured securely
                             Choose strong passwords and keep them safe
                             Protect your computer with security software
                             Use public Wi-Fi hotspots carefully
                             Protect your online information
                             Protect yourself from being scammed

                          What is LEO doing to stay cyber secure?
                          To help you stay safe, LEO have launched a new training
                          course  “Computer  Security  in  the  Workplace  ”  to  improve
                          your knowledge of how you can be more cyber savvy.
                          This  course  is part  of LEO’s  mandatory  training plan  and

                          is therefore essential that you complete by 31  May 2019.
