God’s love for you is perfect. It is a love that will never fail or abandon you
(Hebrews 13:5). It will keep you to the end and beyond the grave. God’s love for
the world offers perfect salvation to all who call on the Lord Jesus Christ for that
salvation. This is called grace - the free gift of God to us received by faith.
Ephesians 2:8-9 says “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is
not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of any work of our own, so
that no one may boast or be proud.” The New Covenant is the free gift of salvation
to all who believe.

What is the World?
The world is full of talented and intelligent people who have been made in the
image of God and who in many ways reflect some of God’s creative ability. There is
great beauty in the physical world of flowers, mountains and animals - even though
a mere reflection of what the original creation was really like, and in the creative
works of people in buildings, bridges and cities - in art, music, science, engineering
and technology.

There is, sadly, the destructive effect of sin and Satan - confusion, destruction,
darkness, disease, sickness, disability, deformity, pain, crime and cruelty. The Bible
tells us that the whole world lies in the hands of the evil one (1 John 5:19). The
world incudes all world systems and governments, all life - plants, animals, people
from all races, nations and cultures be it the Jews, Americans, English, Indians,
Chinese or any other (even though God has put civil systems, governments and
laws in place, they are not without corruption). Every living person without God
and His love is without hope. Romans 8:22 tells us that “For we know that the
entire creation has been groaning and suffering together in pain up to the present
hour” And Romans 5:12 says “Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one
man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all people (without
exception), because all sinned.” Because of sin, the world is separated from God
and is lost in darkness. John 12:46 quotes Jesus who said “I have come as a light to
shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain
in the dark.” God loves the world and sent His only Son to give light, life and hope.
Acts 2:10-12 says “We and all the people of Israel - know this ... Salvation is found
in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which
