we must be saved” No one comes to God except through the Lord Jesus Christ (
    John 14:6).
    Who is the Son?

Historical records within the Bible and from other sources show that Jesus Christ
was a man who walked on earth for thirty three years. The Bible states He was
born not by the will of man but by the will of God and therefore He was born
without sin (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:27, 34). In 1 John 1:1-4 we are told
of eye witness accounts - “We are writing to you about something which has
always existed yet which we ourselves actually saw and heard: something which we
had an opportunity to observe closely and even to hold in our hands, and yet, as
we know now, was the very Word of life himself! For it was life which appeared
before us: we saw it, we are eye-witnesses of it, and are now writing to you about
it. It was the very life of all ages, the life that has always existed with the Father
(God), which actually became visible in person (as Jesus Christ) to us mortal men
(the apostles). We repeat, we really saw and heard what we are now writing to
you about ... as companions, eye-witnesses, and disciples of Jesus for three years”.
The Son is the Lord Jesus Christ who is God come in the flesh. God came into the
world as a sinless man and then died on a cross and rose again from the dead.
Because He was without sin the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead and is now
seated in heaven on the throne of God. He is God and is ruler of all. John chapter
1:1-5 states “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were
made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and
that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the
darkness has not overcome it.” And “The Word became flesh and made His
dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who
came from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:14). It is not fully
understood by us how God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit can be
    three persons as one.

The Bible states in Colossians 1:17-18: that “For by Him all things were created,
both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or
dominions or rulers or authorities - all things have been created through Him and
for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. He is also head
