Learning Made Simple (LMS) & Skillsoft

 Learning Made Simple (LMS). Learning Made Simple is our Learning Management
System and can be used to find and manage your training.

 LMS is available 24 hours/day, seven days a week. It can be used at home or the
office for free.

 Employees are able to search available classes and sign up online to participate
in a class that is offered.
 There are UNC Health Care online courses that are available to our employees. A
few of these are assigned annually to all employees as part of a required curricu-
lum.

 New employees must complete three annual Compliance LMS courses within 30
calendar days of initial employment and annually thereafter. The annual Compli-
ance LMS courses are:
 HCS Compliance and Code of Conduct

 HCS Patient Privacy and the UNC HCS

 HCS Conflict of Interest Policy Education

 As a UNC Health employee, you have access to the SkillSoft eLearning Library via
LMS. SkillSoft is a continuing development resource that includes more than
5,000 online courses, 65,000 videos and 46,000 books on various business and IT
topics.

 Another feature, Books 24/7, allows on-line access to an array of both business
and IT book collections.
