SCOPE
To estimate the Mineral oil adulteration in oil.

APPARATUS
FGraduated pipette -1 ml (picture - 1)

FMeasuring cylinder-25ml (picture - 2)

FRound bottom flask (picture - 3)

FTake 25 ml of 1.5 N Alcoholic KOH Solution in a
R.B.Flask. Add 1 ml of sample of oil. (Picture - 6)
REAGENTS
F1.5N Alcoholic KOH - Dissolve 8g of KOH in 100 ml
FBoil on a water bath using an air or water cooled
of alcohol.
condenser till the Solution becomes clear.
FDistilled water ( Picture -7)
