Since the invention of the camera,
photographs have served as a way to
relay emotional discovery and give
insight into the eye of the
photographer. Before images could be
transferred to paper or shown to the
world, people were limited in their
knowledge of the issues facing the
environment. Over the last few
decades, the movement of
conservation photography has
blossomed. With that movement has
come a major concern for the
biodiversity of this planet and with that
concern has came the empowerment to
take initiative. We will discuss the
history of this type of photography and
the effects it plays on our environment..
