ACRYLIC DECKING (IF REQUIRED)
This is a 3 step process (form/pour/top) and the longest phase of construction.
FORMING- Our deck crew will form the deck for the concrete pour, you will
have a chance to look over the form and give approval or make changes before
the deck is poured. We do not form and pour the same day, the pour will be
done the day after.
POURING- The crew will prep the job before concrete is delivered, once the
deck is poured it will need to dry for a minimum of 7 days before the acrylic
topping can be installed. Please stay off the deck for at least 24 hours.
TOPPING- After the concrete cures (7 days) the acrylic topping crew will come
in to top (paint) the concrete with the acrylic lace color you have chosen. Please
stay off the deck for at least 48 hours and be very careful for about 4 weeks.
Topping is usually done after clean up to limit damage to the product.
Once the deck is complete a superintendent from Thunderbird Pools will
pick up your deck payment (unless payment arrangements have been
made with the office)
