Activities of Ethics in
Administration students

OMSAR SOCIETY WEEK

he Office Management and Technology Programme successfully
organized The OMSAR Society Week from 16 to 19 August 2016 at
TUiTM Samarahan, Campus 2. The objectives of this event were to
establish network among students and lecturers of BM118, to impart
better understanding of BM118 vision and mission, to boost students’ self-
confidence through soft-skill activities and to inculcate teamwork spirit.
The event began with the Public Speaking Competition on 16 August at Bilik
Seminar Block C. Twelve students, who were mostly semester 3 students,
competed in the competition which was conducted to help students better
prepare for the second year Public Speaking subject in their course.
Next, the Cultural Night and OMSAR Idol were held on 17 and 18 August
respectively, with students showcasing their skills and talents through
dancing and singing. OMSAR IDOL was the most favored event of the week.
The winner was Izzan Azizah Binti Sahat who won an invitation to an event
organized by semester 5 students.
OMSAR Society Week ended with ‘Kuasai Rintas’ Competition and
Keyboarding Challenge on 19 August. These two activities were partly based
on the knowledge on subjects taught in the first, second and third semesters.
Judges for all competitions were BM118 programme lecturers. Puan Noor
Shima Binti Antony, the Head of The Office Management and Technology
Programme, closed the whole event with a short speech and a certificate
presentation ceremony.
